And thus it helps students to work in a proper and systematic way of finding solution.
Who is the father of Vedic Math?
Vedic Math, the ancient method of solving mathematics problems, was later discovered by Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja, and he was known as “Father of Vedic Mathematics”.
Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja was born on 14th March, 1884 at Tinnievelly, Tamil Nadu, India. He was known as Venkatraman before he became a saint. Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja had a brilliant educational record with a masters degree (MA degree) in six subjects like Sanskrit, English, History, Philosophy, Mathematics and Science.
During 1911-1918, Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja has practiced deep meditation and studied metaphysics and Vedas, which led him to practice a tough life of sadhu (saint)
Later he wrote the sutras (a rule or aphorism in Sanskrit literature) on the manuscripts but was lost. He found “Sixteen Sutras” or word formulas which cover all the branches of Mathematics – Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Physics, Plane and spherical geometry, conics, calculus- both differential and integral, applied mathematics of different kinds, dynamics, hydrostatics and all.
